HELP!!! myfish are sick...idl what it is or what to do..!!!

my fish were fine this afternoon as far as i can tell... tonite i noticed they are all sick....
they have a white film over thier eyes and silky white tassle like tings hanging from around thier eyes and the nds of thier finss...
what could it be? i thought ick but i have never seen any like this that comes on so quick...
i got the tank for free froma guy..it had a convict in it at the time... he was covered in the same thing but i thought it was just because of being neglected and it went away after a water change and a good scrubbing of the tank...but i guess i was wrong.... what is it??? what should i do???

you know what you should have done?
filled the tank up with hot water, emptied it, and then added the new water.

but it sounds like ick, jack up your heat and change your water daily.
lets see a pick of how cloudy these eyes are?

if their cloudy as hell, add some pond melafix, it's cured anything i've noticed with my fish!

Sounds like it might be anchor worm (although Ive never seen it attack the eyes) but id need to see pics. If it is, all you can do is add salt and pray. From my experience.

change 80% water and replace new carbon?
