Help need breeding jacks

So I'm trying to breed my 2 male bgjds. I found someone with 4 bgs same size that id like to buy. There is 2 males 2 female. I already have 2 males so I only need females. But I don't know if I should get both females or if I just need 1. I only have room for 1 pair in the long run so the others would be sold.

The owner has had them for 6 months and they haven't bred but they are in a community. Would having a male and female from him possibly increase chances of a pair since they have been together for 6 months. If so then should I buy 2 females and trade one of my males for his. And just keep my best looking male?

All advice greatly appreciated.

clean water, supplement live feed, ie crickets, night crawlers , tadpoles whatever you have on hand, temp up to 86 degreez , sit back and watch the magic happen , sometimes a dramatic change in diet and a temp increase will jump start them. water quality key, over filter.
