Help-- Need info on these puffers!

I am currently working on a comprehensive fresh/brackish puffer guide, I may publish it as a book sometime in the future, and info on the following puffer's aquarium care was very scarce. ANY care info or pics would be GREATLY appreciated.

Pao hilgendorfi
Pao bergii
Pao ocellaris
Pao brevirostris
Pao barbatus

Genus Chenlonodon
Chelonodon bengalensis
Chelonodon dapsilis
Chelonodon laticeps
Chelonodon pleurospilus - Not actually sure if this one can live in freshwater or brackish. If it is exclusively marine, any info is useless, at least for this guide.

I suggest a website called Fishbase.se, which is a great recourse I use. It’s very scientific, and it links you to more recourses.

Yeah, that is an important resource but it doesn't tell me what I need to know in terms of care, which I am making sure to incorporate

For a lot of the rarer species, you may not be able to say much more than “similar to this cousin species” as they are almost never imported or kept, so there will be very little information.
For example, very little is known about C. tocantinensis besides that it is a freshwater colomesus species. Care would likely be no different than for asselus. The same probably applies to pao puffers.
“The puffer forum” may have answers, but it is not as active now as it once was.

Damn, thats a really rare list of puffers you got there and honestly can’t say i’ll be of too much help considering that i’ve never owned any of them…

As Deadeye said, it will probably be more of a case of similar care to “X” species unless you can find someone whos owned them?

i’m wondering if Oddball has kept any of those before or maybe fugupuff if hes willing to help, since both are very knowledgable and have kept / stocked a lot of rare puffers in the past…

Oddball should still be around but again probably lurking more in the shadows…
