Help need tips on shipping fish

Help need some tips on what service and how to ship fish. I have all the equipment ready but im still looking for bag buddies and what service to use. I callled fedex and they said they don't ship live fish and that i would have to call a specialist. Thanks for any infos

Oh is that how everyone does it. Do they ever check and if they do is there a fine.

I dont think they are allowed to open the box in order to check.Just take it to your post office,the one I go to does not hassle me about shipping fish and I have never used these bag buddies.

Ok i did some research and found out that you can use the post office tp ship fish but sometimes they don't know and like to argue the case. Heres the link

USPS allow to ship live fish, just need to be Express Mail.
you could get away with priority mail if they don't know the rules.


FEDEX also allow shipping live fish, but you have to go to the main station. not Fedex Kinko's unless they not knowing that fish inside. If they know there are liquid inside the box, let let them know it aquatic plants inside so need to have water.

how large of the fish you planning to ship?
