HELP NEEDED!!!! ASAP!!!! GECKO WONT LET GO!!

So, stupid thing happened. I went get the Crested Gecko out of his cage, but he went to bite me, so I took a sock to calm him down,(Bite the sock instead of me) let him know its me (Normally works) HE BIT THE SOCK AND WONT LET GO!!! How do I get him to let go!!!!!?????

Just put him and the sock in the enclosure and leave him alone, but monitor him to make sure he isn't physically stuck to the sock for some reason.

lol, alright. I waited, and it took about... 15 min. before he let go. He seems to be afraid of the sock now... poor guy...
Better the sock than me.

It's ok. You just put the sock over the wrong lizard, that's all..

I'll get some pics of him in the morning... or seems how its past 12 am... in a few hours. (When he is less active, bites almost everything, obviously, at night...)

A guy at my lfs was bitten by a tokay gecko, it wouldnt let go of his finger. He stuck his hand in a fish tank for ten minutes then finally got a screwdriver and pryed it off his finger. The gecko was fine though. I thought it was hilarious, he didnt.

Wow, I've never seen a mean crested gecko before. I have 3 and they've never once tried to bite me.
