Help needed for severe Eye problem!

I returned yesterday from a 16 day Indonesian holiday to find one of my prized Temensis with both of it's eyes badly damaged and infected I believe.
I have started adding a dissolved salt solution (1 tble sp per 20L) slowly to the tank to help the healing and will do water changes every 2-3days.
I want to know if there is anything else I can do other than raise the temp also??

I went to west va. one weekend and left my lights off, and when i came home i found 2 of my african peacocks like this and my frontosa near death. eyes were clouded over and really bad looking. turned out my pH went south down to around 6.0 and all 3 of them died, the others pulled thru. check your pH.
