Help needed on unwanted breeding pair

I have 3 jacks, 1 yellow lab, 3 parrots, 1 GT, and 5 pleco's, oh and 1 female convict. The female convict laid eggs yesterday not sure what time and not sure who the father is the only 2 she lets near her eggs are 1 of the jacks, the yellow lab. So who would most likely be the dad, I am wondering so that I could take the other fish out and just leave the parents.

african cichlid and central american cichlid can't breed together...

Eggs probably won't be viable. They'll fungal over or the parents will eat them.

Dempsey 's and convicts can spawn...may take awhile but there have been hybrids bred from these 2 fish. I have a post in the hybrid section about my EBJD &Convict that spawned

He's right...if the eggs are yellowesh with black dots in the middle the jd is the father.. cool hybrids too, I've see them.

I agree, the JD is Poppa. Yellow Lab is an african and they are mouth brooders. Of course this is if the eggs are viable. Convicts are the proverbial bunnies of the SA cichlids, and lay eggs when the wind blows. It would be super cool if the JD is the Pop, very cool hybrid..

Thanks for the help, but today there were no eggs and th female con is ready to breed so i might separate her and buy her a male red devil.
