Please only those folks that own or have owned one please reply.

How was your tank when delivered, silicon seams looking good?
Was the glass clean?
What is the outside dimensions of this tank? (I ask this because i may need to rip a door off the casings to get it in the cellar.)
How old is your tank?
Do you have overflows?
If you got a plain tank do you regret not getting overflows?

Any problems with anything from customer service to setting up the tank?

I'm asking all these questions because i am torn between the 300g wide glass cages tank and the Perfecto 265g tank with stand.

Thank you in advance,
Paul

I have a 300g tall I've had it for 4 years I can't complain at all the craftmanship was good, the tank was clean when I picked it up from shipping location. I wish I had the back drilled for bulkheads though. For the price I think it is a great tank. It is a nice showpiece in my living room I have it built into a wall. Keep in mind that there is no framing on the glasscages tanks though. They just put this thin plastic molding around edges

I am very happy with my 300 wide from Glasscages. I did have to scrape off a little excess silicone but it only took a few minutes. I have two overflows and I had to do a little trimming on them to allow for enough flow to go through them. Other than that the tank was fine.

The glass was a little dirty but it wasn't a big deal, just had to use a little vinegar and water to clean it. I purchased the tank in February I believe. I'll have to measure the outside dimesions when I get home.

Here is a link to the setup on my 300. It might help a little with your decision. http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=221656

Also, here is a picture of it.
