My tank is a 155 litre set up with:

4 Mollys
10 Tetras
6 Guppys
5 Danios
2 Clown Loaches
4 Rainbow fish
4 Oticinclus Cat

Im not at home at the moment so my description may not be great as my fiancee has just called me at work to let me know that 1 of the mollys was floating dead, looking as if it's scales have come off in places, it was a black molly and she said it now looks very white. The Guppys fins have come apart but have not been eaten, the Rainbow fish look like they have got fat overnight and the tetras all look washed out. I have only just added 5 new Tetras and one of these looked in poor health when I bought it, it died after a 15 minutes in my tank but the rest seemed ok! Any ideas what is wrong and how to fix it? :( The Mollys have only been in the tank a week or so as well.

Check ammonia, pH, and chlorine levels, if they are okay it sounds like a bacterial septicemia/fin rot but I am betting on a toxin problem. If you can test try a 50% water change each day for 3 days. It really sounds like you forgot to neutralise the chlorine/chloromine in the water last water change, or used to little neutralizer, or it has gon bad.
