I have a 5 Inch Carpintis Escondido. Lovely fish with great pearls. I recently obtained him from a friend of mine. After a month or so he began slightly shedding scales of his lateral head, which at the center of the falling scales are red. It is slightly swollen, barely noticeable. The shedding has increased a lot in the past week of my treatment with "Quick Cure" for ICK and Protozoan parasites as well as Epsom Salt. His personality and habit have not changed at all. Still territorial and eats normally. I've read many diseases and cannot seem to match up the signs. Could someone guide some light. These are the best pictures I could get with my phone. Couldn't get it to focus, apologies.
