i have a 55 gal with a male green texas and a white saum with a orange pike and a mosiac gar , i am going to upgrade to a 90 and put the the texas in there with a fenale red terror if i can find one , my question is what is an attractive catfish that doesn't get way to big that will hold it own in the tank with them

sun, or solar catfish, but you might need to upgrade to a 125 gal min tank size eventually. They grow 14-18", but reports from the wild have them larger sometimes. Other than that maybe some kind of pictus, or medium sized doradid.

Your best bet would be a striped raphael or a Pimelodus species such as blochii or ornatus. There might be some aggression issues among the cichlids, but they should leave the catfish alone given enough space. Just make sure you add some hiding spots.

that's true I've never seen my cichlids get aggressive with bottom catfish. With limas, or irridescent sharks it's a different story.
