guys i need help.i have a red devil that i purchased about 2 weeks ago and hes still hiding all the time and is getting kinda like some white markings on his body, kinda like a film.(not ich). ive already done many water changes with dechlorinated water and ph is at 7.0

WHAT SHOULD I DO!

If there is more fish in the tank he's probably just a little bit frightened. I had a Synodontis while back who had the same thing i think.
Is the film thing look like its falling off?(like shedding)

no.hes completely by himself. whenever he does swim he swims awkwardly like if hes afraid and twitching. when i first got him he would swim around the tank now he just hides and hides.

:( im really sorry i dont know how to help you. But maybe if you asked a Petshop you trust to give you this 'Sera Med' (the brand) Protazol (The Medicine) i Really hope this helps :/ its Pricey But well worth it :)
And 1 last thing could you tell me how to make my own thread i have a problem with a 230 Gallon Tank :)

so far 3 30% water changes.
Your RD could be having problems adjusting to your water. You've been doing a lot of water changes over the last two weeks during his introduction. When fish are irritated it makes them increase their slime coat. That's probably what you are seeing on his skin. I know you want to see him out more but the more you continue to change his tank decor and stress him with too many water changes, the longer he will be shy and hiding. Let your tank rest for the rest of the week. No more water changes. Do not medicate your fish without knowing what's wrong with it. You can make things worse that way.

Sorry i dont want to seem like an idiot But i cant find new threads all i see is Thread tools,Search this thread and Display Modes
Sorry to be a bother
