How long has the Texas been in the tank prior to green terror bring added? I'd take the Texas out for awhile rearrange decor then try again

A little head butting is normal when introducing cichlids just make sure there's no real damage happening.

Try rearranging the decor as mentioned above.

If they are really hurting one another your only hope may be to separate them or to at least add a tank divider.

Any other tankmates? Do you have decor and lots of hiding places in this tank?

Tank mates 2in festae 3 Africans that don't bother it 4.5 5 inch jag polleni 4inches and yeah i think I'm going to rearrange stuff and take out all the pointless rocks and take some stuff from my RD tank and wish me luck on that one

Good luck. Sense the Texas is biggest it's most likely showing it whose boss. Same thing happened with my salvini when I put him in my 90. The resident grammode harassed him for a day then backed off a little

First, take out the africans. They don't belong in that tank.

What is the sex of the Texas? If it's a male, expect the power play for dominance. I would use an egg crate divider to separate them. This way they can see each other and you can monitor behavior. Good luck!
