Help! new clown loaches picking on my flagtail

I've got 6 loaches ranging from 2" to 3" and the flagtail is abut 3" aswell.. sorry i have no pics atm.. ive had a look just then.. it seems that they are ignoring the flagtail for now. also my tank is a 4x2x2 with only a small piece of driftwood in there temporarily till i get a larger one
I am not familiar with flagtails. It may just be that everyone wants the one piece of driftwood to hang out in/under. Do you have any clay planting pots to slip into the tank until you can get more driftwood? A few more hiding places would seem to me to be the remedy. Hopefully a few others will chime in to help give you a clearer picture. GL!!
Your loaches know how to use their strength-in-numbers. If the flagtail has a hiding spot or piece of food & they want it, they have no issues taking it from him. Wont even think twice. They wont hurt him, though. He's gonna have his revenge soon anyway, since he'll grow much faster than them.
