Hi !

My New tank is 30 Gallons (120 Liters).
2 Days ago I bought a pair of Red parrots. Each are 1"-1.5" - small Parrots

I have Top Filter, heater , Sand and 2 Hiding place (Clay Pot)

Both are healthy. But when they see me, they hide inside pot or hiding behind filter head. They are too scared.

They are eating pellets only when i leave room for a while

Is this normal ? if yes, for how long ?

Is there any ways to get trust too fast?

Pls help

normal, add half dozen giant danio dithers and they will come out.

Normal, its luck of the draw sometimes; I gave my dad a blood parrot for his tank, it hid constantly for 3-4 months no joke, to the point that he traded it in.

In the traded in tank, it immediately went out and about, boldly chasing other fish; sometimes they just don't adapt to the tanks they are in

Thanks Everyone :)

I have around 3 pairs Pink Zebra. (Each around 1cm LOL)
Can I put them into the tank?

Risky at that size, would easily fit in the parrots mouth no?
