Help new skinny Longnose gar

They are pretty skinny. Get some guppies and feed that for now. Treat with MB/prazi and salt bath to reduce risk of infection.
Likely was fed that at the lfs and hard to switch over.

In the pic one is looking for food. It will take time like stated but eventually they will learn to eat Tilapia and even pellets.
Get some feeders into them and bulk them up. Wait until they are larger to switch them to other food items.
Yep, what they all said. I'm sure LFS was just giving them live feeders

Btw how long should i stay them with feeders and ive been seaching in google and here in mfk about longnose growth rate, do anybody have an idea how fast do they grow?

Tbh don't know about the growth rate but would stop feeding feeders as soon as you notice them eating what the polys eating non living.
For growth rate I would expect to have a fish in the range of 14"-18" after the first year. They are faster growing than floridas but not as fast as gators.
