help new with gars

i need some good info with hujeta gars before i get one. his tankmates will be a 8 1/2 inch poly sen, 3 inch albino poly sen, 3 inch poly sen.

Hi this isn't a true gar. You'll probably find more info on him in the "Other Characins" forum than the "Gar" forum. Sorry, I have no experience with them, but thought this might help.

that's correct. they are not actually a gar. also, be warned that they are jumpers. cover up the tank.
