I have a brother with a few mental issues. long story stort, he got pissed off, put a freshly used plunger on my bass guitar(:irked: :WHOA:  :barf: :barf: ), stoll a bunch of my stuff, and poured a can of salty p-nutz all over my 55. Not nowing how this would affect the tank, i moved all of them to my 45 gallon, wich is now highly overstocked. i don't expect any of my little convicts will be left there when this is taken care of. I have seen my red devil shred them in a heart-beat. thats okay, they are easily replaced. now to my 55.
I figure i would have to just, take all the water out, and start the tank over again. The aquarium is next to his room, so i should also do that just to move the 55, so he doesn't end up smashing it.
Now, is there anything i need to do when i clean the 55, or watch out for in the fish? what happens if they ate any of them?

I would just do a normal 1/3 water change on the 55 and move them back ASAP.

a bit of salt won't hurt the tank.

and a bit of oil from the peanuts will just make a bit of a film on the top of the water, but its not a big deal.

your fish should be fine.

I wouldn't go nuts cleaning everything. you risk a major ammonia or nitrite spike doing that.

:iagree:

No need to get all insane like your Bro...

A couple of large water changes over the next few days and you'll be fine.

no drown him. see what hes done to the poor widdyfishy.lol you shoul just look up the tank. in a cabinet and when u wanna look just open up or otherwise just put a lock on the room where it is kept.

with all the fish, one of them beat up my knife fish, and im scared if if he will make it. I put it in my moms 55 angelfish coummunity, but idk what wil happen.
And yea, i got back at him. That plunger i found on my bass, i gave him a good hard lump on the head. he started crying instantly. Then i told him he needs to cover anything that dies. If the knife dies, thats $20.

found out theres more. After i moved the fis out. he took all my fish food and dumped it in the tank.
