I have a 5" OB Peacock in a 135g with other peacocks and mbuna. He was pretty much the dominant fish in the tank since I've had him, about 4-5 months. Yesterday I noticed he was getting picked on by the fish he used to chase. Today I noticed he was hiding throughout the whole day until he just popped out. His eyes seem to be cloudy and have a film on top of them. His scales look like they are drying up and peeling and he seems to be off balance. He doesn't eat, just swima around and balances himself until resting on rocks or the bottom of the tank. All the other fish are doing just fine. Did a water change 2 weeks ago and all my water param's are set. Any idea what this guy has? He is the prettiest fish I have, would suck to see him go. Any help is appreciated, thanks!

Sounds like a power struggle......His rule has ended....The new blood will be ousting the old Alpha:(

At this point there is nothing you can do except seperate him

Get him out of the tank into quarantine. if you have another tank to put him. if not, put him in a tank with smaller fish. He just had battle royal rumble. he will die if you don't separate him.
