Hi,
im trying to have a marine tank set up for 2 x common clown fish 1 x yellow tang 1 x Pacific blue tang 2 x clener shrimp 1 x hermet crab.
also some live rocks and 1-2 x anomoe for the clown fish.
The tank is a standerd 4foot ( 4ft x 18" deep x 12" wide).

could some one please tell me what i would need for this set-up ? and the cost for this set-up (around ish the price that every thing will come to if possibely). i need what lights to have and skimmers and all the other stuff aswell as the bed sand and salt for my tank .

meany thanks

moved it to general salt. well for the tank you'll want to decide if you want live rock or not you'll need a heater, protein skimmer, refractometer, a good place for to get water to make saltwater for the system or use a RO/DI unit at home. Pumps, wet/dry trickle filter or a canister filter lights depending on if you want corals, anemones, or fish only will determine your choice of lights.

protien skimmers are important... BTW, get some corals... sps are good, or you could try soft corals...

Personaly, i would not put any tang in a 4 foot tank...

I agree 4 foot is too small for any tangs.
