i would like to have 2 arowanas but i dont know if they can stay togerther in the same tank. if they can stay at the same tank, what color should i get?

Not sure if 2 can work but i know 3 work in my tank... I have 2 silvers and 1 Jardini....along with other tank mates..

With aros the best rule of thumb is either one or many. That said I've seen pairs of silvers that worked out long term but it's rare. IMO it's not worth the risk.

i have a question about green arowana. will it get really green or it will look between green and silver? how big my tank should be for 3 arowanas ?

and what would the price be for green arowana and golden arowana (5.5") ?

asian aros are illegal here in the us and its better to get 1 or 5+ more aros some people have 2 or 3 but that's only sometimes and for a real good chance to work is to have 5+ aros

As mentioned before asians are illegal in U.S. For three 30" silver or black aros you will need to have a tank that is 96" x 48" x 24" and this would be fit for life. You can start smaller, but will have to upgrade to the larger tank.

You could possibly have 1 aro for life in that tank but there's no way in hell you're gonna fit 5 in there for life..... Jar's get like 2 feet and silvers will reach 3+...

If you are new to aros I'd start with 1 black in a 6x2x2. You'll have to upgrade eventually, but you'll have a couple years before you even have to worry. You'll learn a lot just from keeping one, then you can go on to buying groups of arowana for a 500+ gallon tank.
