Hi I have a female rd/midas that lays eggs every 2weeks and i want her to breed with my male jag. Can anyone give me some help on how i could make this happen. The jag is about 6 or 7 inches and the rd/midas is about 6inches.

put them in a 75 gallon tank with a divider in the middle since there both highly aggressive fish, look for signs of aggression condition both the fish on high quality food, bloodworms, market shrimp etc wait until she drops her breeding tube take down the divider and watch how they react to each other, make sure there not too much aggression, jaw locking is normal but if there any physical damage to either fish divide them again and try again later, hope i helped
