I have a reef ready 210gallon tank up and running. I would like to add a single close loop to the tank. I can't add an overflow box or drill a hole. Can this be done. I would like the return to be a spray bar at the bottom of the tank for my rays. I was thinking of using a mag24 unless anyone else has ideas. Can it ever overflow or drain out? Thanks in advance.

you can look into hang on overflow boxes... Dr.FosterSmith.com carries two that handle high output but i have no experience with either.

Powerheads and sub-substrait piping could handle most of that task reliably. I'm not quite sure what your shooting for here. You could do the same thing with an empty canister filter.

Reef ready tanks are generally drilled, right?

Something like this might work as well. It's designed to be adaptable and has spray bar attachments.

Yeah I forgot about those. I was looking for something pretty strong with only a spray bar. I will look that up. Thanks

If the drain and return are both in the tank, then it should never leak and you can put the drain and return at any level you want to a point (The pump should always be below the lowest part of the intake). You will have to prime it initially but once you get water into the pipe you should never have to prime it again. Even if you power it off there will still be water in the pipes, so just powering the pump again will start the loop.
