help on lighting???

Hello everyone I just want to know what is a good cheap light for my 75 gallon I want to do some corals an keep the purple on my new live rock ive looked on Ebay an read some reviews on google but I allways turn to Mfk for the right answers I seen a Odessa 216w with timer on Ebay for 120$ is that ok or do I need more? Thanks everyone
 
Standard t8s in a shop light are not gonna get it done hit up a search engine tons of info on this already gl

It dont matter to me online or store I jus want a good light not a pos ive looked online but im nit spending 500$ on a light

If you want to keep corals, you need a pretty intense light. I believe the min would be 10,000K. Your choices are pretty much metal halides or really high quality LEDs. Whatever you go with, make sure it specifies " reef" somewhere in the description. You're also going to need a mix of actinic blue and white lights. Be sure to research the crap out of lights. They will make or break your reef tank. Reef lights are something you really can't get for cheap unless you find a killer deal on eBay or Craigslist. And even then, you have to Look at the major brands and the reviews to weed out the bad ones. Good luck.
