help on lungfish ID

i rescued this lung from its first owner about 1.5 years ago. he was in very poor shape and very skinny. hes back to 100% now and has packed on the pounds along. hes now 35'' long and a good 12'' around. need help on the ID of him im thinking he is a WAL. but could be wrong. any help would be much appreciated.

looks exactly like mine but alooot bigger. mine is around 20" and i cant find an i.d. to save my life. Its grey not brown just like yours. not a WAL...not a SAL....so im not sure whats left. i'm anxious to see who knows
