i added a large mouth bass from a near by pond and its been eating and looks happy but there has been little string like things on the fish it also seems like has become much lighter in color. but all my other fish in the tank are perfectly fine.please help!

The string like things could be anchor worm. He should be put in quarantine and treated for parasites.
are they hanging from his fins?? i notice ones that look like clear leaches on wild caught fishes fins. i caught three perch that had the clear ones and i just tweezered them off and they have been fine since. maybe its the same thing who knows. can you post a picture?
