hi all i have almost finished the set up for my 150 gallon tank and now i have soem issues with the pump / pvc overflow

ok heres how it goes when ever we run the pump and the overflow the drain is always draining more than the pump can push and will eventualy overflow the sump what can i do to fix this do i need a smaller overflow
we do have a ball valve on the drain line but to me it seems like it would be impossible to get it exactly right so that the level in the tank and the sump remain the same ? how would i do this ?

oh and the pump is a mag drive 9.5 (head height = aprox 5 feet) and the drain is 1.5 inch pvc

WAIT i think i figured it out i had originaly put a second 90 bend on the overflow so it wouldnt suck air now i realise how crucial suucking air is for it it allows it to compensate well thanks guys i answered my own question LOL
