help...parasite found on fish!

I just found these parasites on a gar and pleco that I caught in florida..they are flat, tan in color, and crawl on the fish-I took some off the fish easily with tweezers. Here are some pics-not that great, but can someone identify them, are they harmful? and what meds can I put in the tank to cure the fish? so far I've put a little more salt in, and put some aquari-sol...
any ideas???

Are there more on the fish?
If they weren't attacked I don't think there would be more unless eggs were laid on the fish.

Looks like fish lice. I would try Jungle Parasite Clear.

I think it is fish lice as well, I bought some meds yesterday and will keep this post updated....

Yep, fish lice. Clout kills them everytime! they are resistant lil' buggers.

Fish lice are such a pain in the neck. Either dimilin or trichlorfon would work here.
