help parasite. with pic

hi i have just found a free swimming worm thing in my tank
it is about 2-3mm long and a red brownish coulor
can anyone id it from these pics and how do i treat?

How do you know it's a parasite? It might just be some sort of free living organism introduced somehow. As long as it isn't doing any harm to your fish I wouldn't worry too much.

wow, never seen anything like that b4...are they in great numbers?? do a few water changes and vac our ur gravel really thoroughly, then see if theres more?

he has been off his food abit latly, just dont wanna loose him
