I just picked up a female sunshine peacock from my local fish store and I noticed she was holding, well by the time i got her home she spit out 45 eggs in the bag..............I put all the eggs in a tumbler i made form a undergravel filter tube................I need some help because I dont know if i have fungus? All the eggs have a spot on them on the smaller side that is a lighter shade of brown than the rest off the egg, and some of the eggs are completely the lighter shade of brown, I wouldnt say that they are white..........if this fungus, whats going on????????

please help me i dont want to lose all the eggs..........

Probably the embryos...?
Are these cichla?

i believe theses are africans
gl with the eggs!

They are not cichla they are a type of african cichlid and I have breed sunshines....I have never had luck once the eggs are spat out and if they are all white no good! out of luck is my guess

its pretty much game over if they spit em out

just tumble em
if they are fuzzy and dead looking thats probably bad
just tumble em for 3 weeks if they arent showing any signs of hatching or being alive by them then you can throw em out ;)

They can survive in a tumbler as long as they keep moving fungus shouldn't gather if it does you'll notice right away looks more like a white fuzz on the eggs the lighter eggs may just be infertile

the peacock is a albino sunshine peacock, its like those ruby reds

all the eggs have a tiny spot on them that is a lighter shade........ and from that tiny spot some of the eggs starts to get more lighter, some are half lighter color and some just have a small spot that is a lighter shade, and some eggs are all the lighter shade....... its not white though, i got them tumbling now, how can i tell if they are fertile???? its been 2 days now

wait 10 to 15 days if they haven't started to develop by then you'll see them start to soften and they arrant fertile
