Help picking a super aggro centerpiece

So my brother is setting up a tank and is wanting a nice looking showpiece fish, the tank can be just for this one fish and whatever that goes in the tank will be an attempt but a loss is expected.

Tank is a 140g tank so there is plenty of room to grow.

Looking around I am liking the looks of the Veja/Festae/Salvini/Dwarf pike/EBJD/Synspilum/Zonatum

I've been mainly a Tanganyikan, dwarfshrimp, planted tank, reef, aro person and never really payed much attention to CA/SA other than breeding convicts but now looking around my attention has been peaked.


So.... POST up THOSE pictures AND don't FORGET to ADD common/scientific NAMES!!!!

This is just because I love them so much, but super green texas cichlid Herichthys carpintis var. Escondido. ) You can google pics for yourself, mine's not pretty yet.

Those are pretty nice looking.

I have seen a few locals catch some pretty awesome specimens in the local waterways

That one looks ok, body shape is really similar to the managuense cichlid

Not super green but has great looking features.

This is actually a regular texas cichlid (H. cyanoguttatum), which is a different species from H. carpintis blah blah blah.

Still a very nice specimen tho. )
