Help pictus cat in danger

my pictus cat is getting harassed by more bichir. Now its hiding in a corner and doesn't like to move. its gotten bit in the face a bunch of times and you know that bichirs have teeth so i don't know what to do. Oh and the cat is big enough to not get eaten just harassed.

Sounds like you need to remove one or the other. Kinda doubt if things will get better even if you rearrange the stuff in the tank

ive done it once but that made it worse cuz now he doesnt even use the driftwood to hide under.

take the cat out and quarantine him. he needs time to relax and recover. then either try a divider or separate tank. they obviously aren't good tankmates.

lol my friend just took my other tank for a 'hamster' so i can't quarantine it. oh and the bichir is a senegal.

Some fish just refuse to get along no mater what you do. Others get along when everything says they shouldn't. Not much you can do about it except buy some more tanks.

Is it me, or did this guy still not tell how big the tank is? I need that info please.

Its a 30 long heavily planted with lots of hiding spots. will be upgrading soon. they can break line of sight.
