A little place called C At Hell
Hello,

One of my pike has torn the tissue which connects the jaw to the rest of his body. There are two very large holes in the tissue, and he's breathing heavily. Does anybody know of a way to keep him alive, or if there is simply nothing to do?

Its a peaceful species of dwarf pike, so I'm not entirely sure how it happened, but he's extremely weak. I took cell phone pics of the injury, but they arent good enough quality to tell anything.

His mouth has been protruding for a couple days, and I thought maybe it was just stuck and figured it would go back to normal.

The holes in the skin are large enough to look down his throat while holding him.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Bump!

Nobody able to help?

Thanks

Will have to wait and see I guess.

There's not much holding the top of his jaw, and its impossible for him to close his mouth. I doubt he's eaten since it happened, and this morning I noticed his dorsal was starting to fade in color.

Anyone know of a medicine that might help promote regrowth of something like this? I've got him separated, but what really worries me is that his bonded mate wont survive without her man around
