Hi I just found a planaria in my tank of red cherry shrimps (probably a hitchhiker from a plant).
I heard that they can harm shrimp. So far I've only seen one and I've taken that one out, but I'm guessing if there's one, there's gotta be more.
One of my shrimps seems lethargic and will not eat. Is this because of planaria?:(
How do I get rid of the planaria? Please help!!!:1zhelp:
The planaria looks like this: planarian2.jpg

Planaria is normally from over feeding... So cut down the amount tou feed, vacuum substrate well and keep up with water changes...

I don't think it's from overfeeding (still think it's a hitchhiker from a recently-bought plant) but I'll clean my tank super-thoroughly now...

They are from overfeeding. Suction the substrate and kill those you can find. When they are on the glass I like to press my finger firmly against them and drag. Poof gone.

The lack of eatting isnt because of them btw
