what's up people
i have 2 big problems in my tank.
1-i just notice today that i have planaria warms, and my tank is 220g, what can i do that is not that expensive to remove the worms. my amonia level is 0 and i change the water every 2 weeks. for filtration i have a cascade 1500 and a wet dry filter with 5 gallons of bio balls with a 1200gph pump.
i feed my fish in the morning and at night (flakes)
i was thinking just feeding them once a day

2- i have 2 pieces of driftwood in my tank for a bout 2 month and they dont want to sink, what can i do
any sugestions

I see the problem. You change your water every two weeks. It needs to be changed. Do twice a week. Planaria will appear when you overfeed or your tank is insufficiently maintained. It has something to do with your tank maintenance routine. They're harmless but just indicate poor water conditions. Do not do anything drastic to rid them off. Plenty of water changes and food supply cut is all you need.

thanks Lupin i was getting worried there for a minute
ill cut the feeding in half and ill change the water twice a week.
now, do i have to always change the water twice a week or till the worms go away, then switch to once a week or is twice a week a normal routine that i should start doing

You can switch to a weekly once the planaria are gone. Just cut back on feeding to once a day only. Your fish are already grown so once a day feeding isn't a problem.

they dont want to sink
Now I just noticed the woods.lol It takes weeks for them to sink at that size. I had that trouble before. If you want to boil them, then a cauldron would be what it takes to do that. I just placed them in my pond and crossed my fngers they'll sink soon enough. I then por hot water and salt on them before placing them in the tank.

should i feed in the morning or at night?
Whichever is more convenient for you. I prefer mornings though.
