i just cracked my 210 gallon freshwater tank at about mid level.
i have begun draining the tank. and have duck tapped over the crack to minimize the water leakage. please tell me it there is some way i can save the tank. or if i have completely discard it. is there anything i can fill the cracks in with.?

you can replace a hole panel but you will have to remove the silicon and buy a new sheet of glass and resilicon it.

That sucks.
The only thing I can think of that will hold is to cut out the damaged side and have a store cut you a new one and then silicone it in place.

I would try a lowes or home depot for a sheet a glass. I think they cut glass there too, so you could probably just bring dememsions and have it cut out.

Check your local yellow pages for glass shops, look under auto glass that should help. This should be cheaper than Lowes or HD

dude thank you guys so much. its not leaking anymore and i appreciate your advice.
im gunna call around right now.

depending how big the crack is.. you can use a special poxie and a second piece of glass from the outside to seal the crack.. but :/ if it is in the front you have to turn your tank and use the other side as the front viewing :/ sorry ,am

lol man i messed up. but oh well nothing comes of it if you dont learn from it. and i have to be thankful that my parents are very supportive. thanks for the ideas guys.

How did you crack it, anyway. Unlevel stand?
