HELP!! Please identify this cichlid. I'm being overrun!!

These fish are taking over a 150 gal. aquarium. Can you help me identify them so I can try to give them away? I thought they might be red zebras but they are more of a cream color. I don't really want to cull them but will . . . we are in a very small town with no fish store for over 90 miles.

zebra of some type, hate say it might be a hybrid. I have seen a whiter zebra before from a group of hybrid zebras.

Or, feeder fish? I was told it's not good to give fish like these away. Thoughts?

Use them as feeders if you have something that will eat them. I wouldn't give them away. Either cull them or feed them to something.

They look like Pink Convicts and yes, they spawn alot!

Wrong body shape to be a convict. They are definately a type of mbuna but most likely a hybrid.

After looking again, I think you are right about being Mbuna.

What fish are in there that could be breeding ? Have you seen any of them spawning ?

I would watch to see what is spawning and producing these fry, if its hybrid cull them, if its not then i would give them away or sell them.

The fish appeared to be a hybrid and have been culled.

Not at all!!Not even from the same part of the world.. Deff a species of zebra from Malawi.
