Can i use a 10 gallon heater for a 45 gallon tank?

Well - I'm in Idaho and I've got 2 10g heaters on a 30g tank to keep the temp at 82 degrees.... You're in Cali, so you MIGHT be able to get away with it - I dunno....

Theres really only one way to find out. Get yourself a water thermometer and crack the heater up and see what the water temperature gets to.
