help please my female midas got attacked badly while I was away

My male and female had eggs but I went down to check on them this morning but a catfish that I had trouble getting him out before ate the eggs then when I was taking out the catfish I removed a big piece of driftwood then I had to go to school but I just checked on them and she is beat up bad like not swimming properly I just dividthem and now I dont know what to do im not sure if she will make it or not please respond asap

Remove male if u can and leave female because she will be less stressed. Treat with 1 table spoon of AQUARIUM salt per 5 gallons and turn up the heat a few degrees. Hope for the best

Ok thanks I just did all that but I also put her in a net to keep her up right

If she's not moving and leaning she may be a goner. In any case watch her closely over the next few hours. Make sure aquarium lights are off as well she'll just be stressed by them

Turn off the lights and maybe put a blanket over the tank it'll calm her down I used to do that when moving my red wolf when he was younger since he'd jump repeatedly slamming the lid.. Earned himself the name bloody face
