So I've been wanting to build a 2 tier ( double ) fish tank stand for 55 gallons and i just found some 2x4's in my backyard but this is where I need help the wood has been sitting there for about a year and it still seems like its in good condition. It has been exposed to the elements and is it still ok to use or should I play it safe , stop being cheap and just go buy some new ones?

Well, you didn't use the F-word or the T-word so you should be good to go (fungus and termites in case you were wondering).
