What type of lighting i need to grow egeria densa [ anacharis ] :) ? How much Watt do i need,36w are enough? Somebody told me that i need 3000k bulbs.Is he right? Are the 6500k better? Is the light from a fluorescent tube 18w 6500k good for anacharis? Please help! Thanks ;) ;) L.E : I have a 20 gallon tank
 
Everybody tells me that 6500k are not good for them and they need warm light (3000K) .Are 2 fluorescent tubes 18w philips 765 6500K good for them? Its a lot cheaper than bulbs

Cool Daylight 6500k are good? it has a 72 IRC
 
6500 is in the ideal range. 3000 is too low. Anywhere from 5700-10k is fine. 36w over a 20g should be more than adequate for anacharis. Are you letting it float?

Well,i'm keeping them planted into the substrate.They look really cool.After they grow up a little maybe i'll keep 1 or 2 floating
