Ive recently purchased my baby black peru pirahna, everythings been fine the last few days, ive been told to feed him about 2 times a week starting off, ive done, the ph, nitrate, and amonia test kits and everythings fine, but he's acting realy wierd, flicking all sand up with his nose, and somtimes when i enter the room hes in, he goes crazy in tank and hes actually tryed jumping out water a few times and hit the tank lid, any tips ideas anyone? :( thankyou

I've never kept pirahna but they are characins and probably spook very easily especially since he is new to the tank. Make sure he has hiding spots...rocks,plants,ect..to feel safe in. I wouldn't expect him to charge the glass every time he sees you like an oscar or some other cichlids, but that is just a guess.

I agree with that, also how long are you leaving the lights on? Maybe leave them off completely until he has settled in properly?
