Help Please

i cannot tell what type of cichlid this is it keeps on tormenting my Clown Knifefish it was sold as a "red texan" but nothings came up

Looks like it has some Green Texas Cichlid in him but his color kinda dull, maybe a cross

Any idea why he might be attacking a fish that is quite a bit larger than him?

cichlids can be pretty mean sometimes, doesnt suprise me

would you know what the best thing to do is? i have another tank but it has a black-belt cichlid and a flower-horn in it which are both too aggressive for either of the fish :/

Cichlids have that little dog syndrome.... In their head they are the biggest.
