About 2 weeks ago i found these reddish brown balls with like white hairs on them floating around the tank, i thought they were brown algae but i think im wrong. ive used tetra algae control 3 times and taken out all of the gravel and boiled it along with everything else in the tank. i washed everything vigorously. but its back, AGAIN. can anyone tell me what this is? or why i have it? please!

What do you feed your fish? It could be left over decaying pellets.

i feed them NLS cichlid formula. and ill post a picture of it if i can get one, theyre pretty small. and i never thought of it be being leftover pellets! that could be it, but how do i make sure that if that is the problem, the fish don't leave leftovers? i have a clown loach and a pleco that clean the bottom, i thought they get that stuff?

ok you were right its definitely decaying pellets. but how do i make sure they eat it all without it going to the bottom? like they dont even go after it until it hits the bottom, they just wait for it to fall and then eat it...
