help please

Ok. I clean my pacman's tank every 3 days and give him an overal inspection.

I found some sort of wound on him under his front arm. I have no idea how he could have gotten this. Ive been feeding him crickets, mealworms, and rosey red minnows.

What I have done so far was clean the wound under some water, and put a bit of polysporin on it. Ive attached some pictures of it. Please tell me absolutely anything i could do for it.

I agree with the substrate what else is in there like a piece of wood he could have jumped onto wrong?sharp edges on water tray or something else.Could you post pics of its tank set up?

Substrate is Eco Earth, i mist it 3 times daily and clean it every 3 days, change it weekly.

the only other thing in there with him is a small exo-terra water dish

that exact one, and half of it is buried so he can get in and out.

wow theres nothing there for him to injure himself on at all,the only thing I can think of is some kind of infection not injury.
