So I got a little comet a couple of weeks ago. I quarantined him for a couple of days but he looked fine so I put him in with my gold fish, about 5 days latter he had clamped fins and he wouldn't use his right pectoral fin and he was hanging out at the suface of the water gulping air every now and then. So he went back in to the quarantine tank where i put him on melafix and soon after he died (i think i may have overdoesed the little 1 inch fish). That was a couple of days ago and Ive been watching my other fish to see if they get sick. So today I noticed that one of my calico fantails who is also about an inch long isn't using his left pectoral fin as much as his right and it seems to be a little red at the base of the fin where its conected to his body, but he doesn't have clamped fins and I haven't seen him rub up against things, he is eating just as always. But im still worried.
