Ok so i got a new rhom other day and put him in a tank, which i now know has a little leak, so for now ive had to move my 4" serra rhom in with my 6" red belly, which i dont think is very helpful at all seen as though the red bely has already started to nip my rhoms fins and i cant find a tank seperator anywhere until i get another tank to house my rhom. shouldnt the rhom be kicking ass or is it because of the substantial size difference?

first the rhom is small and second the rbps are used to their tank, by adding the rhom in there will just stress the rhom out and your rbps may see it as food.
get a divider (or plastic eggcrate from hardward store) and separate them before it's too late.

I just made a divider out of eggcrates last week for when i do maintenance. Try wal-mart, lowe's, home depoe, etc etc. Won't cost you more then 6-8 bucks and you could make several dividers out of it

you're mixing 2 different species of piranha and one is considerably smaller. that's a formula for fish food. . . rbp's will devour a weaker one of their own species. imagine what they will do to another species.

thanks for the help, im gonna fix a divider together right nowjust got all the materials, the rhom has survived over night and has even been nibbling on the rdp's fins :S
