My plywood tank recently developed a leak in the silicone on the front glass. My plan is to remove the old silicone and reseal the tank, however I am finding it extremely difficult to get the glass off. I am not able to get a razor blade between the glass and the silicone and I was hoping to find some help here. I have already tried using a guitar string which quickly snapped. Any ideas?

Use monofilament fishing line that should work a lot better.
