A guy from petco suggested asking you this question....
I accidently poured clear cool-aid water, about 1 1/2 quarts into my 10 gallon aquarium which has 12 guppies in it. (it's a long story)
I didn't realize I did it until the water got pretty cloudy the next morning. I took a sample to petco and he said everything looked fine. The fish are swimming around like normal, I just couldn't see them very well.
The next day, today, the water cleared almost completely but there is slime on everything. The filter, the rocks, the sides of the tank. The fish are still swimming fine.
My question is... should I just continue to change the filter until it clears completely or is there something I could do or add to the water to help?
