I hate to break it to you but that is not a cincta. It is a saxatiline group pike and looks to be Cr. sveni. It is a male.

really? my friend imported it from peru, i think there is no C. sveni. in peru???

Knowing it is from Peru will help with identification. Might be a young proteus.

Just being imported out of Peru doesn't mean alot these days. Fish caught in illegally collected areas, are often boated up or down stream to a legal country for export.

r there any red dots on it because it might be a lacustris pike my lfs got some and i thought they where lents but u never know?
